Hi Wendy,Is this a netCDF file? If so try the SET DATA/ORDER command. It looks as though the axis called FILES has thrown things off, since it has no units and the name does not give Ferret a clue about its direction. I think the following will work on your file, but test it out,
SET DATA/ORDER=TZXY Ansley Wendy Wang wrote:
Hi all, I have a data set with axis defined wrong: yes? show grid ppGRID GFG1name axis # pts start end FILES X 62 r 1 62 DEPTH Y (meters) 40 r- 0 195 LONGITUDE Z (degrees) 90mr 90.5 179.5 LATITUDE T (degrees) 20 r -9.5 9.5 X axis was defined as time, Y as depth, Z as long. and T as lat. Does anyone know a simple way to correct them? I didn't find much help online. Thanks in advance, Wendy Wang
