The USE command is an alias for SET DATA/FORMAT=cdf .
All qualifiers and restrictions are identical to SET DATA/FORMAT=cdf. If no filename extension is given, ".cdf" or ".nc" is assumed.
Example:
yes? USE test
is equivalent to
yes? SET DATA/FORMAT=cdf test
