Question:

How do I get on/off the ferret_users email list?

Explanation:

We maintain an email list for the use of ferret users. By joining you become part of a group of users which receives announcements and updates as well as questions and answers from other members ofthe group.

We use the Majordomo mail server which can respond to commands in the body of mail messages. The list of commands given below includes information on how to join or remove yourself from the list of recipients.

Solution:

All of the instructions are in the "email users group" section of the Ferret web pages.

To add yourself to the list send email to Majordomo list server with the following text in the message body -- not the subject line.

 subscribe ferret_users

Requests to join are approved by a human being. This is done as soon as possible, but it is not instantaneous. Please wait for confirmation that you are subscribed before sending email to the list.

To remove yourself from the list send email to Majordomo list server with the following text in the message body -- not the subject line.
