Background

It is common practice to present multiple scientific graphics in tabular form. An example from atmospheric science would be the following 4-panel plot from Unisys Weather:

The ImageSlideSorter javascript component makes it easy to create an interactive web page that allows end users to generate their own multi-panel plots based on their own choices. The page designer only needs to specify the number of rows and columns and the contents of Select menus.
